We love celebrating birthdays. Whether it's an 18th, 100th, or a milestone birthday, we'll put flags on the table and celebrate your special day.
There are many ways to celebrate your birthday with us. For example, if you want to gather seven of your best friends for open-faced sandwiches, draft beer, and schnapps, Færgecaféen is the place to be. But we are just as happy to host a big 50th birthday party, where the entire ferry is yours with a three-course menu, open bar, DJ, and dancing.

Only your imagination sets the limits for your birthday at Færgecaféen. It's your day, so whatever you want, you shall have.
Celebrate your birthday with a two-hour lunch event featuring unspecified open-faced sandwiches. Large platters, enough for everyone, and two hours of quality time. Or set aside a little more time, three or four hours, and choose the Captain's small or large lunch table – or come aboard for a classic three-course menu.
If you would rather celebrate for one evening, we also offer a shorter and a longer version. Book our 4-hour three-course menu with delicious drinks or the Captain's Grand Evening Table. Or go all out with a 7-hour event and unlimited drinks.
One of the cosiest party venues in Copenhagen
Our ferry is moored in Wilders Kanal next to our restaurant in Strandgade. The ferry is a converted fireboat with its own bar, toilets, and sun deck. There is room for 40 seated guests below deck and 18 seated guests on the sun deck, which is covered and heated when the season requires it.
The ferry provides the perfect setting for your private event, such as a birthday party, where you want a little privacy.
If you are hosting an evening event, we are happy to convert the boat into a dance floor and bar so you can let your hair down.
If you are planning to hold your party in the summer, the top deck of the ferry is an ideal place to enjoy the view of the canal, the company, and the delicious food from Kabyssen.
