Tasty Danish food the good old fashioned way

Appetizers and desserts are typically plated while main courses are usually served family style.

The menus are for 12 people or more. Starters and desserts are typically served on individual plates, while main courses are usually served "family style" on the table, with small dishes, and served in several rounds – just like at home. The menu chosen must be the same for the entire party. Children and guests with dietary restrictions are of course exempt. If you would like something that is not on the menu, please contact us for options and prices.

3-course set menu

425 per person. All starters are served with bread and butter.

Appetizer

Beetroot tartare with crispy smoked cheese cream

Smoked salmon tartare with skorzonera root cream and rye bread crumble

Mushrooms à la créme with toast

Creamy crab bisque, a rich soup with intense seafood flavor,
celery and spring onions

The Ferry Cafe's gravlax with mustard sauce

Cold smoked salmon with shallot cream and pickled red onions

Captain's stir-fried beef tartare with beef tartare stir-fried with kimchi and wasabi mayo, topped with crispy Asian radish salad

Main course

Oven baked cod with herb crust, baked tomato, green beans, hollandaise and potatoes

Wienerschnitzel of veal with peas and pommes sautées. Served with brown sauce and butter boy

Beer braised pork breast with vegetables of the day and crushed potatoes

Pink roast beef with creamy tarragon sauce. Served with seasonal vegetables and salt baked potato

White wine braised young rooster, with mushrooms and vegetables in a creamy sauce. Served with crushed potatoes

Old-fashioned roast beef served with pickled lingonberries, glazed pearl onions, green beans and potatoes

Jerusalem artichoke confit served with pickled mushrooms, Jerusalem artichoke chips and hollandaise. Served with pommes sautées
