Classic Danish style with a touch of class. A charming old building, classic Danish cuisine that was really good, and a pleasant location by the water, away from the main tourist areas.

Fantastic food—authentic Danish cuisine—but expensive! Fantastic food on the tasting menu—and plenty of it. Quite expensive, but truly authentic. If you make a reservation, ask to be seated in the main restaurant rather than on the boat (which is more modern and lacks the atmosphere of the main restaurant).

A Wonderful Experience My colleague celebrated her anniversary yesterday, August 7, 2026, with 13 guests, including me. I’ve had great experiences at the restaurant in the past, and especially for the sake of the guest of honor, I hoped this visit would be a success too—and it was 😃. This time, we were on the ferry—and to my and everyone else’s great delight, we enjoyed wonderful food and drinks and exceptionally attentive service. Thank you so much!!Posted on TripAdvisor

A fantastic Danish restaurant. We stopped by for an early lunch after arriving in town early; I had reserved a table in advance. It’s an excellent restaurant with delicious open-faced sandwiches and very good local spirits (akvavit). The service was good and fast, and the cuisine is traditional Danish. It’s located relatively close to Christiania. I can recommend it, even though—like most restaurants in Copenhagen—it was quite expensive.

Good food, good atmosphere. A few things that could be improved. We went without a reservation, even though it was crowded. They forgot to serve the appetizer... which was corrected, and we were served afterward. The food was good and served quickly. The atmosphere was pretty good.

5-star Michelin rating! 🏅💯🇺🇸 My husband and I flew in from Tampa, Florida, and we stayed at the NH hotel, and we just walked down the street and found this amazing restaurant! The food was excellent, as was the service.

We felt very welcome Really delicious food, a fantastic atmosphere, and friendly staff. A large selection of beer and schnapps. We hadn’t reserved a table and arrived as a group of six. Just like that, there was a table for us in a packed restaurant on a Wednesday at lunchtime.Posted on TripAdvisor

Fantastic service and food at a lovely, cozy boat restaurant. A fantastic lunch at an excellent restaurant. Upon arrival, we were lucky enough to get a seat on their boat/small ferry, which was moored by the canal right outside the restaurant. Gustaf took care of us with their homemade schnapps, drinks, and fantastic open-faced sandwiches. The service, food, drinks, and the cozy boat made for a fantastic lunch. Highly recommended.
