Roast pork has always been a tradition at Christianshavns Færgecafé – we serve thick, beautiful cuts so that the pork is both crispy and juicy.
Roasted pork has always been a tradition at Christianshavn’s Færgercafé—and of course, that tradition continues. We use thick, beautiful slices of pork, sprinkled with bay leaves and sea salt, which are roasted in the oven until they’re golden and crispy. We serve this with a creamy parsley sauce made from scratch with béchamel and coarsely chopped parsley. Of course, roast pork is also served with small potatoes, our own pickled beets, and a flavorful mustard.
We serve roast pork every Wednesday year-round. It’s popular, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation. If you’d like roast pork on other days, that’s also possible—from Monday through Saturday—when we offer our “Roast Pork” menu; just be sure to pre-order.
