Roast pork has always been a tradition at Christianshavns Færgecafé – we serve thick, beautiful cuts so that the pork is both crispy and juicy.
Fried pork has always been a tradition at Christianshavns Færgercafé – and of course, we continue this tradition. We use thick, beautiful slices of pork, sprinkled with bay leaves and sea salt, which are fried in the oven until they are golden and crispy. We serve it with a creamy parsley sauce made from scratch with béchamel and coarsely chopped parsley. Fried pork is naturally accompanied by small potatoes, our own pickled beets, and a tasty mustard.
We serve fried pork every Wednesday throughout the year. It is popular, so it is a good idea to reserve a table. If you would like roast pork on other days, this is also possible from Monday to Saturday where we offer our "Roast Pork" menu, which you just need to remember to pre-order.
