Your occasion is special – and so should your party be. Swap everyday life for the unique maritime surroundings in the salon on the Christianshavner ferry, which is located in Wilders Kanal a few steps across the quay from Christianshavns Færgecafe in the heart of Copenhagen.

We have room for 40 guests in the salon and 18 guests on the sun deck. In the restaurant you can invite 58 guests to dine, where they can enjoy the historic rooms and the view of the canals. If there are more of you than the restaurant or our ferry can accommodate, this can also be arranged, as we cooperate with a party room in the neighborhood.

Our salon is located on the cozy ferry that floats in Wilders Kanal close to Kongens Nytorv.

With more than 10 years under our belt, we have specialized in hosting everything from private parties such as birthdays to cozy and successful company parties such as the summer party. We have a party package that suits everyone, and Kabyssen can handle most dietary restrictions - just get in touch with us and we will organize exactly the party you dream of and have the budget for. Christianshavnerfærgen - Copenhagen's coziest party venue

The Christianshavnerfærgen is a Swedish, culturally marked ship from 1880. It was originally built as a firefighting vessel in Stockholm, converted first into a passenger ferry and now into a restaurant ship with a cozy, heated party venue with its own toilets. There is room for smoking breaks on the foredeck.

Christianshavns Færgecafe specializes in classic Danish food - only better than you've had before. The selection varies according to the time of year and season. If there are special requests, we will also take them into account. We focus on providing a professional service, and we are not bigger than that your company always gets full focus. Christianshavnerfærgen is centrally located in Christianshavn - 5 minutes from Christianshavn metro station and the buses in Strandgade. If you want to sail here, you can possibly dock at the ship's side and go directly on board the ferry. We cooperate with several smaller boats. We have the perfect setting for an unforgettable company.

There are many ways you can hold a party or event at Færgecaféen:

  • Book our ferry below deck = room for 40 guests

  • Book our ferry above and below deck = room for 18 + 40 guests

  • Book the top of our ferry = room for 18 guests

  • Book the restaurant = room for 58 guests

Of course, you can also book the entire pier, i.e. the entire restaurant and the boat, but then you have to be there well in advance, because many Fridays and Saturdays are booked long in advance.
