Copenhagen's coziest Easter lunch
At Christianshavns Færgecafé we love coziness and festivities – and Easter is no exception! Here we of course serve our traditional Easter lunch with herring, salmon, fish fillet and whatever else goes with it.
We celebrate Easter from Friday 11 April to Monday 21 April and our Easter lunch is available in two versions: The small Easter lunch table for those who are slightly hungry and The large Easter lunch table with both cold and hot dishes, served over several rounds at the table. The Captain's Easter table is also served in the evening by pre-order.

Beer and schnapps for your Easter lunch
A schnapps is in order when there is Easter lunch. We are happy to pour you a generous glass.
Every good Danish lunch includes good beer and a wide selection of the kind. At Færgecaféen we have eleven taps in use, and the selection of beers in them varies with the season. If you are into schnapps, we can recommend this year's homemade Easter schnapps, which are perfect for Easter lunch.
On our schnapps menu you will also find more than 30 homemade schnapps and a hand-picked selection of aquavits from the best producers.
Færgecaféen has Easter for everyone
The Captain and Sailor's Easter table should indeed be ordered by everyone, but remember; when you order an Easter table, we are happy to prepare for guests who are vegetarians or similar.
A pescetarian can, for example, kindly join in the first serving, which is pure fish (salmon, herring, shrimp and fish fillet), after which the galley serves a vegetarian or fish main course for the pescetarian, while the rest of the table enjoys roast beef, etc.
