The Captain’s Spring table - served both lunch and dinner
The spring table is for you who love the classic, large Danish lunch table.
At Færgecaféen we love good Danish cuisine, and there is no season that does not offer special ingredients and dishes that make your mouth water.
Spring is no exception, and what is more beautiful than the first days when you can sit outside and have the last sip of beer or coffee in the spring sunshine.
Our spring table is served lunch and dinner until Easter. It is served over several courses and contains both cold and hot dishes. The large spring table is served from March 4th until April 16th.
Spring Menu

Minimum 2 people, must be chosen by everyone at the table.
Including ad libitum drinks + rye bread, white bread, butter and fat. Drinks: pilsner/classic, house wine, soda, water during dinner for 2 hours.

Herring of the day
Fried fish fillet with remoulade
Eggs and shrimp with dill mayonnaise
Gravad salmon with dill and mustard sauce
SECOND serving
Chicken salad with pickled beech hats, bacon and cranberries
Succulent rib roast with red cabbage
Warm liver pâté with bacon and mushrooms
Dessert
Old-fashioned apple cake with whipped cream and macaroons
